With a background spanning Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Healthcare and Social Services, Chenkplen not only achieved personal success but also dedicated herself to assisting others, illuminating paths out of poverty with 25+ Years’ experience working with children, youths, women, and seniors. Chenkplen has contributed her skills in various roles across continents, including serving as the Keynote Speaker for the City of Toronto’s 2019 Refugee Rights Day, Board Member at Women Empowerment Services of Liberia (WES), Program Coordinator for the Future Smart Youth Empowerment Program (Congress of Black Women of Canada – London Chapter), Systems & Network Administrator of Guaranty Trust Bank Liberia Ltd., Pharmacy Tech at Alorica USA and Assistant Housing Support Worker at FCJ Refugee Centre-Toronto ON Canada respectively. Chenkplen's  journey transcends professions, encompassing engineering, information technology, customer service, healthcare, and community outreach, showcasing her versatility in making a difference. Today, amongst the demands of parenthood and professional pursuits, Chenkplen's spirit remains unyielding. She founded Igniting Hope, driven by her passion for meaningful change in the lives of individuals within the Canadian society. In her spare moments, she channels her creativity into freelance endeavours, blending technical expertise with graphic and website designs for non-profit organizations and spending quality time with her amazing family while creating lasting beautiful memories.
